This is the VI Agreement in Defense of Employment reached within the framework of social dialogue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To facilitate the transition of ERTE, the current model will remain in force during the month of October. That is, until November 1, the 75% and 65% exemptions for ERTE due to disability are maintained, depending on the size of the workforce of the company that receives them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Companies that are currently in ERTE have the month of October to renew their file and resubmit it to the competent labor authority. If they do not do so, the ERTE that has been maintained until now will decline. In this way, the Labor Inspection will be able to review the conditions and cases of the company and ensure that the entity is not incurring a false major cause to justify its temporary employment regulation file.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To know the specific conditions to apply to the ERTE starting in December, we will have to wait for the Royal Decree that extends the ERTE until February 2022 to be published.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Changes in training for those workers who are in ERTE<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this extension of the ERTE until February 2022, the mechanism focuses on training as a fundamental step to improve employability and increase the training of workers. As of November 1, the new modalities will be in force, with greater exemptions in Social Security contributions for companies that carry out training actions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Regarding these training actions, they must be carried out before June 30, 2022.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Extension of ERTE until February 2022: Guarantees for workers<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The ERTE will continue to have protection clauses such as, among others, the so-called zero counter, which is extended until December 31, 2022, or the employment maintenance clause.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this extension of the ERTE, the limitations on subcontracting, the performance of overtime or the limits related to the distribution of dividends and access to this aid by companies domiciled in tax havens are also maintained.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, an extraordinary unemployment benefit is recognized for permanent, discontinuous workers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Second Vice-Presidency and Ministry of Labour and Social Economy; the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration; the trade union organisations CCOO and UGT and the business organisations CEOE and CEPYME have agreed to extend the ERTE until 28 February 2022.
