These are the points that the Inspectorate will review in greater detail:<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"969\">1. Specific risk assessment<\/strong><br data-start=\"969\" data-end=\"972\" \/>Temperature, humidity, solar radiation, and work clothing must be included in the prevention document. The plan must identify critical positions and provide for graduated measures based on the alert (green, yellow, orange, or red).<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1212\" data-end=\"1240\">2. Adaptation of the working day<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong data-start=\"1248\" data-end=\"1259\">Reduce<\/strong> either <strong data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1275\">displace<\/strong> heavy tasks to the cooler hours.<\/li>\n<li>Prohibit outdoor work during peak sunlight periods when an orange or red alert exists and no other technical alternative is possible.<\/li>\n<li>Enable the <strong data-start=\"1493\" data-end=\"1508\">telecommuting<\/strong> or climate leave of up to four days with pay if the transfer to the center entails serious risk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1615\" data-end=\"1646\"><strong data-start=\"1615\" data-end=\"1644\">3. Minimum material resources<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"1652\" data-end=\"1689\">Continuous supply of fresh water.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1652\" data-end=\"1689\">Shaded areas or refrigerated spaces for breaks.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1652\" data-end=\"1689\">Appropriate protective equipment (cap, breathable clothing, sun cream).<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1652\" data-end=\"1689\">Indoor ventilation or air conditioning systems maintaining the temperature between <strong data-start=\"1925\" data-end=\"1942\">17 \u00b0C and 27 \u00b0C<\/strong> and humidity between 30 % and 70 %.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1985\" data-end=\"2023\">4. Training and health monitoring<\/strong><br data-start=\"2023\" data-end=\"2026\" \/>Employees must be able to recognize signs of heat exhaustion and have a quick channel to report any discomfort. Company medical services must consider specific screenings for vulnerable groups (elderly, pregnant women, pre-existing conditions).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2305\" data-end=\"2567\"><strong data-start=\"2305\" data-end=\"2338\">5. Suspension procedure<\/strong><br data-start=\"2338\" data-end=\"2341\" \/>If the work involves a risk <strong data-start=\"2377\" data-end=\"2398\">serious and imminent<\/strong> If management fails to act, staff may cease operations without penalty or salary reduction, as provided for in Article 21 of the Occupational Risk Prevention Act.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"2569\" data-end=\"2602\">Sanctions and responsibilities<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"2604\" data-end=\"2998\">\n<li data-start=\"2604\" data-end=\"2701\">\n<p data-start=\"2606\" data-end=\"2701\"><strong data-start=\"2606\" data-end=\"2630\">Administrative fine<\/strong><br data-start=\"2630\" data-end=\"2633\" \/><em data-start=\"2635\" data-end=\"2642\">Serious<\/em>: \u20ac2,451 \u2013 \u20ac49,810 \u2022 <em data-start=\"2665\" data-end=\"2676\">Very serious<\/em>: \u20ac49,181 \u2013 \u20ac983,736.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2702\" data-end=\"2848\">\n<p data-start=\"2704\" data-end=\"2848\"><strong data-start=\"2704\" data-end=\"2731\">Benefit surcharge<\/strong><br data-start=\"2731\" data-end=\"2734\" \/>Between 30 % and 50 % if the INSS classifies the heat stroke accident as a lack of preventive measures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2849\" data-end=\"2998\">\n<p data-start=\"2851\" data-end=\"2998\"><strong data-start=\"2851\" data-end=\"2884\">Civil and criminal liability<\/strong><br data-start=\"2884\" data-end=\"2887\" \/>Compensation for damages and, in extreme cases, possible crimes against worker safety.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"3000\" data-end=\"3037\">Next steps for companies<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li data-start=\"3042\" data-end=\"3095\">Update the risk assessment before July.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3042\" data-end=\"3095\">Inform staff in writing of the new procedures and notification channels.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3042\" data-end=\"3095\">Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors: this obligation extends to the entire chain of activity.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3042\" data-end=\"3095\">Record the measures taken\u2014rescheduled hours, first-aid kits, equipment delivered\u2014to demonstrate diligence during an inspection visit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p data-start=\"3428\" data-end=\"3742\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"><strong data-start=\"3428\" data-end=\"3442\">Conclusion<\/strong>Heat waves are no longer a one-time phenomenon but a structural risk factor.
