{"id":25655,"date":"2015-11-04T08:00:49","date_gmt":"2015-11-04T07:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/aseryde.com\/?p=25655"},"modified":"2015-11-04T08:00:49","modified_gmt":"2015-11-04T07:00:49","slug":"nueva-ley-del-voluntariado","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aseryde.com\/en\/nueva-ley-del-voluntariado\/","title":{"rendered":"New Volunteer Law"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Law 45\/2015, of October 14, on Volunteering, which repeals the previous one, establishes a transitional period of one year for volunteering entities integrated or that have volunteers as of October 16, 2015, to adjust to the provisions of it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Areas of action<\/strong><br \/>\nVolunteering can be carried out in the following areas: Social, international development cooperation, environmental, cultural, sports, educational, socio-health, leisure and free time, community and civil protection.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Minors aged 12 or over may volunteer with authorization, or 16 or over with the consent of their parents, guardians or legal representatives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Relationship between volunteers and the volunteer organization<\/strong>either<br \/>\nThe relationship between the volunteer and the volunteering entity will always be established through the signing of an incorporation agreement, which constitutes the main instrument of its definition and regulation, which must be formalized in writing and in duplicate, with the following minimum content:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Set of rights and duties of the parties, with respect to the Volunteer Law.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The description of the functions, activities and time commitment that the volunteer agrees to carry out.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">System that regulates the involvement of salaried workers or partners in volunteer activities within the entity.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Reimbursable expense regime to be paid to volunteers.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Training required to perform the functions assigned to volunteers and, where applicable, the path to obtaining it.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Duration of the commitment, causes and form of disengagement.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Regime for resolving conflicts between the parties (arbitration or jurisdictional).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Change of affiliation to the volunteer program or any other circumstance that modifies the initial operating regime.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition to formalizing the incorporation agreement with the volunteers, they must subscribe to an insurance policy or other financial guarantee for their coverage, cover or reimburse the expenses incurred by them and issue the volunteers a certificate indicating the duration and activities carried out in the programs in which they have participated.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Law 45\/2015, of October 14, on Volunteering, which repeals the previous law, establishes a one-year transitional period for volunteer organizations that were integrated or had volunteers as of October 16, 2015, to comply with the provisions of the law.
