The Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia published on August 11, the Resolution of August 1, 2018, by which the head of the General Directorate of Labor Relations and Social Economy approves the calendar of labor holidays for the year 2019.
In its sole article, the calendar of non-working days for labor purposes is disclosed.
In this regard, the following list of public holidays, not coinciding with Sunday, which have been approved for the year 2019 is published. As non-working days for labor purposes, paid and non-recoverable:
On Tuesday, March 19, Saint Joseph's Day, Thursday, April 18, Holy Thursday and as for December 8, the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, it should be moved to the following Monday, instead it was decided to move Sunday, June 9, Day of the Region of Murcia, to Monday, in commemoration of the promulgation of the Statute of Autonomy of the Region of Murcia, in exercise of the option established in article 45 of Royal Decree 2001/1983, of July 28.
These days are added to those approved by each of the municipalities of the Region of Murcia, which are those that appear in the resolution itself (HERE)
