The worker must contact the TGSS electronically and carry out the necessary procedures through there.
The approval of Order ESS/214/2018 of March 1 obliges all self-employed workers to join the RED system, so that they must carry out the procedures related to affiliation, contributions and collection of fees in this way. The obligation extends to the receipt of notifications, so for consultation and signature you must access the corresponding service at SEDESS.
The deadline to adapt to the rule ends on October 1, and from that moment on, the communication of the self-employed to exchange information with Social Security will be exclusively telematic.
To comply with this obligation, these workers can choose to manage their procedures through an authorized network or directly at the Social Security Electronic Headquarters (SEDESS). The RED system brings with it advantages that will facilitate and speed up many procedures that must be carried out in the Treasury
Through the Telematic Notification Consultation and Signing Service, the self-employed worker will be able to access and sign the notifications of the administrative acts of the General Treasury of Social Security. Your authorized person will also be able to access and manage the notifications to the RED system or, in your case, your representative.
Telematic notifications
Among the notifications that the worker can manage through this system, those of the collection procedure stand out, that is, debt claims and enforcement orders; acts of the enforcement procedure for quotas, joint collection concepts and other resources, with the corresponding surcharges and interests; acts of the administrative procedure for postponing payment of debts with Social Security, and acts of the procedure for returning undue income to Social Security.
On the other hand, documents related to the acts of the procedures on moratoriums and deferrals or the resolutions of the General Treasury on liquidation minutes, imposition of sanctions and challenges may also be requested.
Other notifications of procedures related to the TGSS will gradually be incorporated into the Telematic Notification Consultation and Signing Service.
In 10 days
The notification will be made available to the interested party for a maximum period of 10 days. After this period has elapsed without having accessed the notification, it will be considered carried out. The TGSS will send an email notifying that a telematic notification has been placed in the SEDESS to the address that the self-employed worker has provided.
If the self-employed worker has an authorized RED, a notice will also be sent to him or her.

These are the procedures that can be carried out through the system:
High or low in the RETA: Self-employed workers may communicate their registration in the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers up to 60 days before starting their activity. The withdrawal can be communicated within the following 3 calendar days. Modification. Self-employed people who decide to modify their professional activity can communicate this through the system whenever they want.
Quotation bases. Up to four times in the calendar year, the self-employed worker can modify his or her base, reporting electronically.
Data change. Likewise, if you need to modify data in the RETA, it is possible to do so with the system, even attaching the necessary documentation.
Contingency coverage. You can also modify coverage for disability, occupational illness, work accident, etc. whatever the self-employed person wants with the system.
Duplicate high or low resolution in RETA. It can be obtained through the system in a simple way.
Access to the reports of bases and fees entered whenever the self-employed person wants.
Be able to check at any time the report or certificate proving current status of obligations with Social Security.
Access to the work life report. Be able to consult the contribution bases at any time.
Possibility of making a change your address as needed.
Domiciliate the payment of installments to Social Security.
