The Region of Murcia has published its 2026 work calendar, which includes the 12 national and regional holidays, plus two local holidays in each municipality. We'll tell you what they are and how they affect the work schedule for employees and businesses.
The General Directorate of Labor has approved the list of public holidays for 2026 in the Region of Murcia. As every year, the following dates are established: 12 common public holidays, in addition to two local holidays for each of the 45 municipalities, which makes a total of 14 non-working days for each locality.
These holidays are paid and non-recoverable, so both companies and workers must take them into account when planning their activity, holidays and working hours.
