The Ministry of Employment, Universities, Business and Environment, through the SEF, has activated an aid of 7,500 euros to companies in the Region that give a permanent contract to an unemployed young person under 30 years of age and registered in the Youth Guarantee, to to carry out tasks related to their university degree. This amount applies to full-time contracts, while it drops to half, 3,750 euros, in the case of part-time contracts (at least 50 percent of the day).
The general aid of the Ministry to companies that hire unemployed young people on a stable and full-time basis is 6,000 euros, but this financial support has been increased by 1,500 euros to stimulate the incorporation of unemployed people from this group in those sectors that have a direct relationship with the studies they have previously completed.
The Ministry will consider that the hiring of a university graduate is likely to translate into help for the company when registration with Social Security occurs within the contribution groups of engineers, graduates and management personnel (category 1) or technical engineers, certified experts and assistants (category 2).
For the Minister of Employment, Universities, Business and the Environment, Javier Celdrán, “with the implementation of this measure we seek to encourage companies to not only opt for permanent, that is, quality hiring, but we also seek to ensure that these incorporations benefit unemployed young people in activities for which they are qualified, and in which it will be easier for them to progress professionally.”
Interested companies may formalize the request for aid within fifteen days from the date of registration with Social Security of the hired worker, that is, from the beginning of the employment relationship. The deadline for submitting applications ends on October 1 of this year.
Possibility: request workers from the SEF

Up to 5,100 euros for an internship contract
The SEF also has an aid line open for companies that offer unemployed young people an internship contract, or non-work internships. In the case of the internship contract, the aid ranges between 1,500 and 5,100 euros to the company, depending on the duration of the contract (minimum six months and maximum 24).
For its part, if the company accepts the non-labor internships of an unemployed young person under 30 years of age and registered in the Youth Guarantee, the SEF aid is 2,400 euros as long as these internships last at least six months (this type of connection can only be last between three and nine months). In addition, the company must pay the young person monthly at least 110 percent of the current monthly IPREM, that is, 591 euros.
