From April 4 to July 2, the draft can be confirmed, although it is not recommended without reviewing it since there is no longer the possibility of complaining to the Treasury.

The deadline for filing at IRPF offices begins on May 10

The period to submit the 2017 income tax return and report to the Treasury is approaching. The 2018 income calendar is full of key dates in the months of April, May, June and, as a novelty this year, also July, since the month of June ends on a weekend.

To begin with, it must be taken into account that those taxpayers who exceed 22,000 euros of income from a single payer will have the obligation to file the declaration (12,000 if they are two payers). Since March 15, you can download the Treasury app to obtain tax data, but it will not be until April 4 when the functionality of confirming the draft and submitting the 2017 income tax return is activated, that is, the payment of personal income tax for the income generated last year. The period extends until July 2. These are the main dates:

March 15, 2018: Since March 15, you can download the new app to present your income, available in the Google Play and Apple Store for Android and iPhone phones. From there you can confirm the draft and request reference numbers.

Although this option is not highly recommended, firstly because the information that the Tax Agency has on taxpayers is not always correct. It should be taken into account that if we send the declaration with incorrect data, even if it is what the Treasury has, this will not exempt us from a subsequent review.

Furthermore, the Treasury does not have information and, therefore, does not include certain deductible expenses, such as contributions to unions that can be included in work income; the income derived from the rental of real estate, which must be calculated; or some capital gains, such as those from aid for the acquisition of vehicles, which must also be included in the declaration.

Starting April 3: If the taxpayer wants the Tax Agency to call them to submit their Income Tax return, they will have to make an appointment in advance ("we will call you" plan), online or at the following numbers: 901 12 12 24 / 91 535 73 26 / 901 22 33 44 / 91 553 00 71.

From April 4, 2018: On April 4, the deadline begins for the exclusive online presentation of the draft income tax return and the 2017 Income Tax and 2017 Asset Returns. Presentation by telephone of the 2017 Income Tax return.

From May 2: Presentation to collaborating entities, Autonomous Communities and AEAT offices of the 2017 annual income declaration: D-100. With results to be deposited with direct debit into account, until June 27.
