The BOE publishes the increase in the SMI to 950 euros, which applies from January 1
Only monetary remuneration is computed in the minimum wage.
The Official State Gazette published this Wednesday (CLICK HERE) the increase in the interprofessional minimum wage, which has been set at 950 euros per month (in 14 payments) or 31.66 euros per day. Royal Decree 231/2020, which the Council of Ministers approved on Tuesday, establishes that the payment of the minimum wage in that amount will take effect from January 1, 2020.
As the norm establishes, the minimum wage is computed "only the remuneration in money", without the salary in kind being able to reduce it in any case. This salary refers to "the legal working day in each activity." The daily salary does not include the proportional part of Sundays and holidays. If a shorter day is worked "it will be received pro rata."
