This is a line of aid aimed at industrial SMEs with manufacturing in Spain
The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, together with the Industrial Organization School Foundation (EOI), has launched a series of aid for SMEs in Spain. The objective is to promote and favor the growth of small and medium-sized industrial companies in our country. These aid are aimed at industrial SMEs that have manufacturing in Spain, so that they can improve their processes and grow in the market. The deadline to access them ends in less than three weeks.
What does aid for industrial SMEs consist of?
These aids consist of two parts. On the one hand, personalized advice and diagnosis by experts for companies. This service aims to detect everything that fails in the company, or everything that can be improved. The experts identify it and propose a series of actions to develop. And, on the other hand, an economic amount is granted to satisfy the needs that are detected. In this sense, if, for example, a company needs to hire staff or invest in equipment, it can count on this money for it. Next, we are going to explain each part of the help in depth.
1.-Advice and monitoring. The company benefiting from the aid will have a series of individualized meetings with experts for 50 hours. Within this service, three phases are distinguished: diagnosis, advice with the action plan and monitoring.
-In the first phase, the diagnosis, the expert will meet with the company in order to carry out an analysis of the business situation so that the aspects to improve, as well as the strengths and growth capacity of the company, are detected. company. To do this, the expert will evaluate the following areas:
Products or services. What the company offers, what type of product or services, seasonality, technology, quality-price relationship, sales channels, presentation, etc.
Market and innovation. The business model, the purchasing criteria of the target audience, competition and the degree of innovation, among other factors, will be studied.
Processes. This area includes the management of the company, its production and automation processes, logistics, digitalization, etc.
Marketing and Communication. Everything related to online communication, traditional media, social networks, etc.
Organization and HR. In this sense, the company structure, remuneration and work environment will be studied.
Finance. The financial situation of the company in terms of funds, income, expenses, debts and investments.
Once all these areas have been analyzed, a diagnostic report will be prepared that will include objective data on the situation, as well as expert guidelines for improvement.
– The second phase, advice, is precisely the list of those guidelines that the expert detects should be improved for the company to grow. The company's needs are detailed by developing a growth plan in which the strategy to be followed is established, through the action plan, where the personalized proposals for the company by experts are presented.
– Finally, the monitoring phase is the one in which the expert is next to the company in the process of implementing the growth plan to resolve possible doubts, and advise them when launching the calendar with the actions. to carry out.
2.-In addition to this advice, as we have anticipated, these aids come with a financial benefit. The total expenditure allocated to this call is 1,656,810 euros. For each beneficiary company, an amount of 6,497.29 euros is awarded. The EOI Foundation grants this subsidy in the form of in-kind aid with an amount of 5,522.70 euros for each company that completes the 50-hour consultancy. Likewise, the beneficiary company contributes to the service by paying 974.59 euros by bank transfer within 30 days of the invoice being issued, that is, once the advice is completed.
Requirements and deadlines to request aid
To be able to access this aid, it is necessary to be an SME of any legal form. That is, whether it is a natural or legal person, an association, non-profit entities, etc., but with the condition that it develops a productive industrial activity in our country.
To be considered an SME, as set out in the conditions, they must comply with the “requirements established in article 2 of Annex I of Commission Regulation (EU) No. 651/2014, of June 17, 2014, by which declares certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty.
Small and medium-sized companies interested in accessing this type of aid have until September 21 to submit the corresponding application.
