Social Security has incorporated into its website https://tu.seg-social.gob.es the possibility for parents to register their newborn children as beneficiaries of healthcare from any computer terminal. Those who in the past had been beneficiaries of health care with the holder may also be reincorporated.
The new service allows parents, holders of the right to public healthcare, to incorporate their newborn babies as beneficiaries of the right immediately and without having to go to a Social Security office.
To carry out the procedure, you just have to access the website and electronically sign the request using a digital certificate or through cl@vefirma, without the need to provide any additional document; It is Social Security that collects the information about the child in the Civil Registry.
On the other hand, this service also allows the reinstatement as beneficiary of the owner of any person who had already been one in the past and who for some reason had ceased to be one.
In addition to the digital certificate, applications submitted on this website can be obtained through cl@vefirma. This new system in the Public Administration allows signing from any device since it is hosted on a centralized server and not on the user's computer. The signature, in this case, can be generated from the same website where the citizen will be guided until the procedure is completed.
