The programme, launched by the Community and AJE, provides 650 young people under 35 with the training and advice necessary to develop a business idea with guarantees of viability.

It is now possible to register for the first action of this call, the course 'Creating companies', which will start in Murcia on October 15.

A total of 650 young people will learn this year how to start their own business with a new edition of 'Murcia Empresa', the personalized guidance and advice program for entrepreneurs, developed jointly by the Ministry of Employment, Universities, Business and Environment, through the SEF, and the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of the Region of Murcia (AJE).

With this initiative, which is now in its fourteenth year, young people up to 35 years of age interested in starting a business can receive, free of charge, theoretical training, guidance and advice to develop their project with guarantees of viability.

To this end, 'Murcia Empresa' offers participants courses, seminars, tutorials and workshops that will prepare them to take their first steps in the business world. Furthermore, as these are independent but complementary activities, it is the participant themselves who designs their own itinerary, carrying out all or only some of the available activities.

One of these actions is the 'Business Creation' course, which allows twelve participants to learn the guidelines for putting their business idea into practice, as well as receive the necessary training for the daily management of their company. The Murcia Business School will host the first edition of this course from October 15 to November 15, for which it is already possible to register on the Murcia Empresa website. The registration period will remain open until October 5.

From this portal, interested parties will be able to learn about the other activities included in the programme, such as seminars to discover the advantages of working independently and management skills cycles.

Another of the strengths of 'Murcia Empresa' is the guidance provided by experts from the business world who, through individual or group tutoring, help entrepreneurs from any point in the Region to resolve their doubts. To do this, AJE has a mobile office that travels to all municipalities providing advice.

More than 350 companies created

The director general of SEF, Severa González, met with the president of AJE, Ginés García, to discuss the launch of this new edition of 'Murcia Empresa', and stressed that "having a solid and innovative business network is essential to continue creating employment. That is why the regional government wants to offer all our support to those who start a business activity, with aid but also with guidance."

Since the launch of this programme, more than 14,000 entrepreneurs from the Region have participated in 'Murcia Empresa', which has led to the creation of 350 companies and has involved a total of 10,720 hours of training.
