The Government has transferred to the Self-Employed Associations and the Regional Government of Murcia the regulations in which there is consensus
The new law of urgent measures for Self-Employment is suffering delays in its parliamentary processing due to the delay in the approval of the General State Budgets, which has postponed the rest of the Commissions and works in Congress as well as the reluctance of Treasury to some measures that would negatively affect public income in some items,
However, the Central Government has wanted to count on those directly affected from the beginning and that is why it has transferred the minimum agreement, which includes some improvements, to the Self-Employed Associations. In the Region of Murcia, for example, these groups have already made a positive assessment of them, although they recognize that they must be improved. Where appropriate, they will do so with alternative measures that will be applicable only at their regional level. The measures transferred, as reported by the Regional Government itself, are the following:
Flat rate extension from six months to a year. Anyone who decides to restart when at least two years have passed will also be allowed to benefit from this aid. Previously, this limitation was five years.
That those under 30 years of age (men) or 35 (women) can chain bonuses and reductions in Social Security contributions for three years.
There will be rdrop in the price due to common contingencies, although it is not quantified
Expansion of the number of self-employed collaborators (relatives) that a self-employed person can hire. While before there was only aid for those under 30 or only a family member under 45, now the following family figures can be hired: parents, children, siblings, partners, grandparents, in-laws, grandchildren, sons-in-law and daughters-in-law.
What if a freelancer hire an employee do not lose bonuses or aid that you may have previously obtained in the payment of your own Social Security contributions, something that had little logic when what was intended was precisely to promote hiring.
Self-employed who have been mothers: they will have a fee of 50 euros during the first year of maternity.
Insist that these are the measures that the Central Government itself has transferred, in this case, to the Regional Government of Murcia and to the self-employed associations of the region. So it seems that at least these will be present in the new regulations that will regulate the activity of self-employed workers in Spain.
