Self-employed people who fail in their business and are left without aid or subsidies will be able to benefit from the 'rescue plan' contemplated by the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment, which plans to offer them so-called 'second chance' aid of 426 euros for six months to try to reorient their business. Self-employed people who want to benefit from this subsidy will have to take advice and training courses to focus the new activity of their business towards a sector considered profitable.
The 'second chance' income for the self-employed can only be received by the self-employed once they have exhausted the rest of the unemployment benefits. The 'rescue plan' also contemplates access to financing for the new business through soft loans.
The Community is also considering the option of articulating aid for women who are on maternity leave. The subsidies, which have not yet been finalized, will be used to cover the hiring of the person to replace the sick worker and the reduction of the Personal Income Tax (IRPF).
The aid will be included in the Community budgets for next year and can begin to be requested in a few months.
