Self-employed workers who are initially registered or who have not been registered in the immediately preceding five years in the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers (RETA), whether they employ workers or not, you will enjoy the following benefits:
- If they choose to contribute for the minimum base: the fee for common contingencies, including temporary disability, will be 50 euros per month for the six months immediately following discharge.
- After the first six months, the following reductions may be applied to the fee for common contingencies:
-During the following six months, the 50% of the minimum fee may be reduced
-During the three years following those, a reduction equivalent to 30% of the minimum fee
-And for three more months, a 30% bonus on the minimum payment.
That is, these bonuses and reductions can reach a maximum duration of 18 months.
Furthermore, if these workers are under 30 years of age (35 years of age if they are women), an additional 30% bonus may be applied to the minimum contribution for common contingencies, including temporary disability, in the following 12 months, thus reaching a duration maximum possible 30 months.
We add two details about detailed reductions and bonuses:
- They are applicable to members of labor societies and worker members of Associated Labor Cooperatives that are included in the RETA.
- They are applicable even when the beneficiaries of the same, once they have started their activity, hire employed workers.
