The first of the benefits introduced by this Royal Decree refers to the EXTENSION OF THE ORDINARY BENEFIT FOR CESSATION OF ACTIVITY AND NEW APPLICATIONS

This provision introduces two ways of accessing this benefit (POECATA).

FIRST: “EXTENSION”. For those RETAs who as of 09/30/2020 were receiving POECATA.

They can continue receiving the benefit until 01/31/2021 as long as during the 4th Quarter 2020 they maintain compliance with the requirements established at the beginning. (Reduction in billing in the 4th Quarter 2020 of at least 75% compared to the 4th Quarter 2019).

SECOND: For those who had NOT received the POECATA until 09/30/2020

You can now apply with the following conditions and requirements:

Requirements:

  • Affiliated and registered with RETA.
  • Minimum CATA contribution period: 12 consecutive months immediately preceding.
  • Not meeting retirement requirements.
  • Reduction in turnover in Q4 2020 of at least 75% compared to Q4 2019.
  • Net performance 4th quarter less than €5,818.75.

Amount:

The POECATA one (70% of the Regulatory Base with application of stops).
The portion paid as a self-employed CC contribution is also entered into the account.

Economic effects:

  • Presentation: until 10/14/2020 (inclusive) takes effect on 10/01/2020.
  • Submission after that date: From the day after submission.

In both cases, the payment is made until 01/31/2021.

Price:
You have to pay the full fee (although they return almost everything later).

Incompatibilities:

  • Salary for self-employed work >= 1.25 times the SMI
  • Performance of another activity on one's own account
  • Perception of company returns with the activity closed
  • Social Security benefits, with the exception of those that you have been receiving and that are compatible with the exercise of your professional activity.

Revision:

The benefit received will be reviewed as of 01/03/2021
