Each City Council will designate two more dates as local holidays to complete the annual calendar of fourteen non-working days.

As usual, the working calendar of the Region of Murcia will have fourteen public holidays in 2020, of which eight are national and four are regional, to which each City Council must add two local public holidays.

The Official State Gazette will publish the final list in the coming days, which in the case of the Region of Murcia will be compiled in the following days.

Wednesday, January 1 (New Year's Day), Monday, January 6 (Epiphany of the Lord), Friday, April 10 (Good Friday), Friday, May 1 (Labor Day), Saturday, August 15 (Assumption of the Virgin Mary); Monday, October 12 (Hispanic Day), Tuesday, December 8 (Immaculate Conception Day) and Friday, December 25 (Christmas) are the non-replaceable national holidays.

In addition, in the Region of Murcia, Thursday, March 19 (San José), Thursday, April 9 (Holy Thursday), Tuesday, June 9 (Regional Day) and Monday, December 7, to which Constitution Day will be moved as the 6th falls on a Sunday, will be declared regional holidays.

Each of the 45 municipalities in the province designates the two days that complete the calendar of fourteen holidays in each locality.
